WHO BEST USES OUR CLEAN OUT - BUY OUT SERVICES

Clients QuestionsPut in simple terms, the person(s) who best utilizes our services are any combination of owners, executors, and/or POA’s that need a home cleared out for either a realtor to list the home on the market, or so new owners can move in. That said, EVERY estate is as unique as the people surrounding them, therefore, every estates level of need is equally as unique. For some, they see the highly possible future, and are at their beginning steps to prepare for the upcoming life events, while for others, those life events are here today.

For over 15 years, Estate Clear has helped many people at all levels of need around the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. Thanks to this experience, we are able to put together this comprehensive article of common scenarios for our future clients to decide how we can help them as we’ve helped others.

Top 4 Reasons Clients Can’t Have an Estate Sale or Garage Sale

#1) No time. Often our clients have a month or less to clear their estate. Estate sales and Garage Sales take a lot of time, effort and labor to set up, advertise, etc.. Depending on our schedule, from the time a client first contacts us, we can schedule and clear out most homes to a swept clean state in 2 weeks or less, ready for a realtor to list the property, and/or for new owners to move in.

#2) The property is deemed too unsanitary to have any type of sale for the general public. Typically, but not always, this means a genuine hoarder home that’s too tough, or too dangerous to move around in due to an excessive amount of stuff, strong animal and other odors, mold, etc.. We are NOT afraid! Also, we DON’T judge. Hoarder homes are truly our specialty.

#3) Neighborhood or Housing Covenants that don’t allow Estate Sales or Garage Sales. Typically for security reasons, some neighborhoods, townhouse complexes, etc. don’t allow residence to invite the general public in for such events. Estate Clear is no different than any Moving Company, Interior Designer, Landscaper etc. you might hire.

#4) You can’t do it yourself, and good help can’t be found. You’ve determined that other companies are either scammers, unavailable, too expensive, turned you down, or all of the above, and no family or friends are available to help. Estate Clear is a family owned and operated company serving the Twin Cities and surrounding areas since 2004. We GUARANTEE we will outbid any other clean out company. No other company has our network of Artisans, Collectors, Craftsman, Recyclers, Up-Cyclers, and Re-Users. Therefore, we find value in EVERY estate, allowing us to leverage the value of items in your estate, against the cost of the clean out. In some cases, we can do the ENTIRE job for free, AND give you money.

Top 4 Reasons Clients Don’t Want to Have an Estate Sale or Garage Sale

#1) They’re over it! We often get the call from an owner or executor who is simply fed up. They’ve spent time allowing family and friends to take what they want, and/or divided it up accordingly, and now can’t figure out, even agree how to deal with the rest. They’ve tried this and that to get rid of the rest to no avail, and now time is either up, or they’re simply tired and wore out from the job of having to deal with family etc.. “You can rest now, we’ll take it from here.”

#2) They simply don’t want the general public in their home, or the home of their deceased or ailing loved one, or even disturbing the neighborhood. Some Garage Sale and Estate Sale goers are indeed disrespectful. If you have a sale, you’re going to get AT LEAST one, and that’s all it takes to permanently stain a carpet, put a hole in the wall, take stuff from an area they’re not supposed to be in, park on the neighbors lawn, etc.. Even outside of that, some people just like their privacy, and/or respect the privacy of their loved one, and feel that it’s none of the general publics business how they or their loved one live(d).

#3) An Estate Sale or Garage Sale is not convenient, or they don’t personally have, or want to invest the time or effort. Typically it’s not about the money for this person. They’ve been charged with a task to empty and sell the house, and they want to have the job off their plate as quickly as possible so it doesn’t disrupt their life. Having an Estate Sale or Garage Sale is in NO WAY conducive to achieving that goal. Typically this person is an out of town relative, or a middleman lawyer or realtor charged with the task by the courts or other family members. Often they end up making the one phone call they have time for, and hire our 1-800 competitors who charge 4-7 times more than us, simply because they know their name through national advertising. Of course, that national advertising expense is passed directly on to their customers.

#4) It’s just not worth anyones time, labor, or effort to make pennies, even lose money on an Estate Sale or Garage Sale due to old junk nobody wants. We haul it ALL away, leaving your home, garage, and all other areas in a swept clean, ready to list, or move in state. Which brings us to…

Top 4 Buy Out Scenarios:

#1) The Client has just a few items, a collection, or items in a particular area of the estate they want to get rid of. This is typically items that occupy an unwanted curio cabinet, boxes in the corner of a basement or attic, a closet, a room, etc.. Often, it’s not really enough to have an entire sale, but its still a TON of work, and a huge hassle to sell it individually. We buy in all shapes and sizes, from just a few items, to curios cabinets, closets, rooms, attics, basements, and garages full.

#2) The Client wants to declutter here and there. They definitely have enough for a sale, but recognize and want the benefit and convenience of selling to one person, vs. the hassles of a lot of people. We indeed have cumulatively saved clients tens of thousands of hours of work and hassle over the years.

#3) The Client tried to have a sale, but nobody really showed up. This happens for many various reasons like unexpected bad weather, road construction, COVID scared public, etc.. Rain or shine, day or night, summer or winter, we would be more than happy to come buy it. We are considered an ESSENTIAL business under the guidelines of garbage removal.

#4) The Client wants to sell the contents of the ENTIRE estate, leaving it in a swept clean state for either a realtor to list, or for the new owners to move in. In the end, ALL of our clients get some form of a “Buy Out”. As was stated verbatim above, no other company has our network of Artisans, Collectors, Craftsman, Recyclers, Up-Cyclers, and Re-Users. Therefore, we find value in EVERY estate, allowing us to leverage the value of items in your estate, against the cost of the clean out. In some cases, we can do the ENTIRE job for free, AND give you money.
